Completati gli studi di musica in Italia nel 1981 si è trasferito negli Stati Uniti dove si è perfezionato al Mannes Collage di New York sotto la guida del Maestro A. Iervolino. Dal 1982 al 1987 ha frequentato la Juilliard School di New York ottenendo il Bachelor ed il Master in Musica. Tra i suoi Maestri J.Cerminaro e M. Bloom.Dal 1987 al 1988 ha ultimato gli studi di alto perfezionamento all’University of Southern California di Los Angeles con il rinomato V. de Rosa. Ha collaborato con le seguenti orchestre:Orchestra Symphonica Toscanini, Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della Rai, Orchestra del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino,Orchestra del Teatro Regio di Parma,Orchestra Haydn di Bolzano,Orchestra del Teatro di Trieste, Orchestra Stabile dell’Emilia Romagna A. Toscanini,Orchestra del Teatro di Cagliari,ed ha suonato con grandi direttori fra cui: Bernstein,Mazel,Metha,Sinopoli,Scrovaceski,Rostropovic,Di Priest,Bershai. Ha suonato negli Stati Uniti,Cina,Hong Kong,Giappone,Unione Sovietica ed Europa.Dal 2006 collabora con l’Orchestra Symphonica Toscanini diretta dal Maestro Mazel. In New York City he studied horn with Antonio Iervolino at Mannes College and at the Dalcroze School of Music. He also studied with Carmine Caruso. From 1982 to 1987 he attended the Julliard School receiving both his Bachelor and Master of Music Degrees, studying with Myron Bloom and John Cerminaro. He then moved to Los Angeles where he attended the University of Southern California’s Advanced Studies Program under the guidance of Vincent de Rosa. In 1988 he moved back to his native Italy and began his European musical career.

Stefano Giorgini has played under acclaimed conductors such as: Leonard Bernstein, Lorin Mazel, Zubin Mehta, Giuseppe Sinopoli, Mstislav Rostropovic, and Rudolf Bershai. He has performed in The United States, China, Hong Kong, Japan, the Ex-Soviet Union, and throughout Europe.
Stefano Giorgini also plays with the Orchestra Symphonica Toscanini conducted by Maestro Lorin Mazel.
